Neckwarmer and a scarf

Hi there

Today I will show you my neckwarmer and a scarf that I made.

Its crocheted in the yarn called RIO, a really soft and great yarn.

Idag får ni se min frivirkade hals- och axelvärmare samt en enkel halsduk som jag gjort.

De är virkade i garnet RIO som ni kan köpa genom Facebookgruppen BUTIKEN

Garnet var väldigt mjukt och härligt att arbeta med.

Another crotcheted project - Ett virkprojekt till

Hi everyone

Its the season.....the cold season that is. 

Of course I got a bad one and I am still not okay after several weeks, but Im not giving up hope yet. *smiling*

I have been starting several projects but there is only one that is ready....but I cant sjow it yet since my dear friend Yvonne havent recieved it yet. 

So, instead I will show something that I made last year....actually the first thing I completed when I learned to crochet last summet.

Hej allihopa Nu är det DEN säsongen ..... Förkylningssäsongen alltså.. Naturligtvis fick jag en rejäl en och jag är fortfarande inte okej efter flera veckor.

Men menm det som inte dödar det härdar...eller nåt. Jag har påbörjat flera projekt, men det är bara ett som är klart ....

Tyvärr så kan jag inte visa det nu, eftersom min käre vän Yvonne inte har fått den ännu, Så istället ska jag visa något som jag gjorde förra året .... den filten var faktiskt det första jag gjorde när jag lärde mig att virka förra sommaren.. Hoppas att ni gillar min den

Another triangle scarf --- En till trangelsjal

Today its time for another triangle scarf that I made for Mona, here its the yarn Signe that I have used again.

Idag får ni se en lite annorlunda triangelsjal som jag virkat till vännen Mona.

Det är återigen garnet Signe jag har använt.

I had soooo much fun doing this one.

I actually made it just after the stitches on my thumb had been removed, and I was still in a HUGE LOT of pain, so I feel really proud of the result.

Now I am really interrested of what You think of it. =)

Jag hade såååå kul när jag gjorde denna, det var många luftmaskor kan jag säga ;-)

Jag gjorde den faktist precis efter att de tagit bort stygnen på tummen så jag hade fortfarande ENORMT ont, så just därför är jag extra stolt över resultatet.

Nu är jag bara nyfiken på vad NI tycker =)

A triangle scarf --- En triangelsjal

Today I show you a triangle scarf that I made to my friend Mona.

I just love the colors on it - so warm and nice.

Sadly I dont remember what yarn I used right now - but I will check that up and update you on that later.

Have been a way from my blog for a looooong time....

I have some news and that is that I from now on will write in this blog in BOTH English and Swedish.

 I am back, FINALLY.

Have Anyone missed me? ;-)

We moved in the end of May last year, and after that a LOT of things have happened, most Hard things I am sorry to say.

One thing that I can tell you about is that I got a bad infection in my right thumb last fall.

That got SO bad so the doctor had to amputate half of my right thumb in the end of May this year..

Nu är jag ÄNTLIGEN tillbaka, hoppas ni har saknat mig?! :)

Vi flyttade ju i maj förra året och efter det har det hänt en massa saker, tyvärr mest jobbiga-

För er som inte sett det på min Facebook-sida, så åkte jag på ett nageltrång i min högra tumme, som sen blev en infektion och till sist blev det benröta-

Detta ledde till att jag tycärr blev  tnungen att amputera halva tummen.

This is How it looks now, not too bad after all.

I am grateful that the infection, that had spred to the bones, hadnt spread further up in the finger...If it had I would have lost the whole thumb.

I still have a meeting with the doctor left, and If all goes well I Will be completely cleared from the infection.

So I hope that you Will keep fingers crossed that all goes well when I meet the doctor again in October.

Another thing I have done since last Summer is crocheting....It is sooo fun.

I Will show you one of the things that I have made today and more in the following days.

Detta är hur det ser ut nu, inte så illa trots allt. Jag är tacksam att infektionen, som hade spritt sig till skelettet, inte hade gått högre upp i fingret ... hade den gjorft det skulle jag ha förlorat hela tummen. Jag har fortfarande ett möte med läkaren kvar, och om allt går väl jag kommer att vara helt friskförklarad från infektionen. Så jag hoppas att ni håller tummarna att allt går bra när jag träffar läkaren igen i oktober. En annan sak som jag har gjort sedan förra sommaren är virka .... det är sååå kul. Jag ska visa en av de saker som jag har gjort i dag och jag kommer att visa mer här från och med nu.

I am back....

I am finally back on track after being really sick for a while.
I got the flu and in just 4 days it went into a double sided pneumonia that sent me to the hospital.

They had to give me a strong dose of penicillin straight into the blood, and after that I have been really low, and forced to be in bed for a long time.

Finally I am starting to feel better, but I am still eating penicillin.

I am still struggeling, but there are always someone else that feels worse, so I try to stay optimistic. 

In this period we lost our orange cat, Simba, and its really empty without him.

He was my guardian angel and always let my husband know when I was getting ill....so he was really special to us.

After this we got a new family member, the cute little dog Flisan.

Her previous owner was going to move back to Norway, so we were asked if we would like to have her.

Of course we said yes, and up til now my hubby has been taking care of her...but now I have started to take her out more when my strength has returned,

She is 3 years old and a real doll, and the cats love her. =)

Creative Knockouts #78 - Lots of Layers

Hi my friends,

Time again to show you another card I´ve made for

This week the theme is "LOTS OF LAYERS", a chategory I am not toooo used to create with, but I have done my best, and hope you like it.

I have used some old patterned paper from Cactus Pink, a brand that I am sad to say is discontinoued.

But thankfully I have a stash of these papers in my craft-room. =)

The motif I have choosen to use is Rick St. Dennis "Miss Puss In Boots"

Its such a stinkin cute stamp, don´t you agree? =) 

I have used some flowers, pearls and filigree corners from my stash

As I final touch I used my white and clear Wink of Stella-pens, just LOVE them.

A Monday card.....

Hi everyone...

I woke up early today, when my hubby got up at 4am, and when he left to 

babysit for a friend I started to make some cards.

This coffee-owl is SOOOO me when I whake up in the morning....I am not 

human before I get my coffee. *LOL*

Hi there,

Hope you´ve had a great crafty week, wherever you are.

I have had a week with a nasty cold, pain in my knee efter a bad fall last saturday night, and, like if this wasnt enough; toothache.

But I can manage this, I comfort myself with that it could have been a lot worse. =)

Even this week I have made a card in a Love-theme....

I have used the sentiment GAMMAL KÄRLEK ROSTAR ALDRIG (translated: Old love never dies) that you can get both as

DIGITAL and as RUBBERSTAMP.

I have also used the stamp

HJÄRTAN PÅ RAD. (translated "Hearts on a row")

Even that one is avaliable both as  DIGITAL och som RUBBERSTAMP

In other words, just to pick and choose. =)

The backing paper is (of course) my favorite oaper from IMAGINE THAT! 

As decorations this time, I have used a red cherryblosssom, some white flowers and red Rhinestones.

Creative Knockouts - A Hug Card

Hi my friends,

I have made another card for

And even this time its a card with the stunning image from the sponsor

I have made a simple, but yet sweet Birthday-card for you as my first project for Creative Knockouts.

I colored the flowers with my promarkers, in blue colors.

Then I used my White Wink of Stella-pen to create some effects.

After a while I realized that the white pen maybe now was the smartest choice, but then I colored the edges of the flowers with some more blue, and I got really surprised with how beautiful the result got.

I will really use this combo in other projects. 

When the colors had dried a bit I painted the flowers with the clear glitter Wink of Stella-pen, but just as the last card its hard to get a glitter to show up good in the picture.

I PROMISE that its even more pretty when you see it live.

As I final touch I added some white and green flowers and some blue rhinestones.

At the moment I wonder if this is too much to be concidered as a CAS-card, so I really need your oppinion here.

I have some news for you....I am now a

I have made a simple, but yet sweet Birthday-card for you as my first project for Creative Knockouts.

I colored the bird and flowers with my promarkers, and then I used my 2 Wink of Stella-pens to create some effects.

Its just too bad that its hard to get pictires that give the card justice, I can assure you that the card is even more blingy when you see it live.

I felt that there was something missing, so I took a sponge and made a blue background.

As I final touch I added some red rhinestones.

Well....now I look forward to see what you think of my card.

I myself have gotten some crafting done and on Saturday , that actually was my birthday , I was on Vrafty gathering in Alingsås.
It was really fun and a incredibly happy bunch , so I could not have had a better birthday .

 

To then additionally be sung and cheered for was just a plus. = )

The beautyful sentiment stamp is a  DIGITAL stamp and its really one of my favourit ones.

This time I dont have a backing paper, I have used some white cardstock that I have inked the edges in a light yellow color.

I have gone on a rather simple style with the decorations, some white flowers and white pearls from my stash.
