Guest Designer for Pappersbiten - Week 4

Then it is time for my last post for
The Swedish shop Pappersbiten
for this year ... and this week I decided to make an easel card.
The folding of this is a little easier than the usual easel cards I've done before and if you click on the link below so you can follow through pictures how to do step by step.

I started with a  12 x 12 inchescardstock and scored it at 4, 6 and 8 inches.
Then it's just to decorate according to your taste.
Linda4-1
I had a new, incredibly beautiful paper from Inkido,
Beautiful memories - Green Blossom
and when I had put it on my easel card,  I sat a long time and wondered how I would  decorate it.
In the end I concluded that it was the paper that would shine, so when I took out my  best friend: my Stickles bottle,
in the color Crystal.
Then I filled in the details of the flowers on the paper and  put it aside for a while to dry.
A tip: If you put in a very thin layer of Stickles it dries faster.
Linda4-2
Then I decorated with little roses, a leaf and a few rhinestones, very simple but I liked the result.
In addition, I added some letter stickers to get a theme to the card.

Linda4-3
To get the card to stand up, I punched out an oval in the same patterned paper and mounted it there with the help of some 3D foam pads.
Then I added a few rhinestones around the oval to highlight it even more.
It don't have to be harder then that, simple can be perfect, especially if you are doing many cards at once.

Materials List:
Black Bazill Cardstock
Paper Inkido, Beautiful memories - Green Blossom
Mixed Mullberry Roses
Green Mulberry Leaf
Pink Rhinestones (Kaiser Kraft, color Hot pink)
Black letter stickers from Basic Grey

The papers are chalked with Ingbild Bolmes black chalk and the details are made with Stickles (Crystal)

So ....now you have seen my last project here for Pappersbiten for this year and who knows, maybe I will be back next year.
Have a nice summer and be crafty.

After a while I realized that I wanted to let the paper be in the spotlight, so I blinged some details and then used the sentiment as a decoration.

This is how it turned out :

Then I added a bunch of flowers, leaves, some pearls and a pin,
as you can see here on the close-up.

As a final touch, I used  my Glossy accents on the flowers and the paper.
I liked the result, what do you think?

Guest Designer for Pappersbiten - Week 3

Another week has gone so now it's time to showcase another project I've done as Guest designer för Pappersbiten.

This time I chose to do a so called "After Eight-Automate," which after some problems turned out quite nice.
I had some problems with the measurements for the bottom part, so I had to think for quite a while, until I found a solution to it, since I refused to give up

I have seen many things like this and they have all been so nicely decorated, so I wanted to try .... but I chose to do it a little different.

As you can see here, I have chosen to put a square piece of cardstock under the machine, which I then done decorating with assorted roses, flowers and leaves.

On the cover, I have also blinged the leaves with my beloved Crystal Stickles.
Its so cool to use....it sparkle in different colors, depending on what color the detail have that you add it on.
Test with some different things, dare to play and see how you emphasize different colors and details.

On the back side, I've put smaller pink roses and more leaves, too bad that they are not visible from the front.
Even the blueberries on the patterned paper has received a dose of Stickles, unfortunately they look better live than on the picture.

Materials used:

White Bazill Cardstock
Paper from Maja Design: Ska vi ta en fika? - Blåbärspaj
Mixed Mullberry roses
White "spinflowers" that I have sprayed withDylusions Ink - Fresh Lime
Golden Rhinestones and white pearls from Landstoken
Gröna Mullberryblad
Big white roses with gold on the edges
Green, thin lace
Big orange flower

Hope you liked it :)

Have a great week, and see you soon again.

Wednesday Challenge # 25 ~ Tic Tac Toe

Thank you for joining us for our 25th Wednesday Challenge at Tsunami Rose.
This weeks challenge is to create a project using the Tic Tac Toe board presented below.
The project required the use of three embellishments that formed a straight line.

Hi my friends

This weeks challenge is a really fun one....I really like to play Tic Tac Toe. :)
I made a card that my best friend got when she had a Name Giving Ceremony for her little daughter Signe.

I chosed to use the top line....Lace, Texture and Twine.

My friend, Sara, really appreciated the card....and that made me so very happy. :)

Materials used:

White Bazzill cardstock
Papers from Tsunami Rose
White lace
White, glittery twine
White pearls from Landstoken in Sweden
A picture of the lovely little Signe

To add something extra I used my Stickles (Crystal) and then I used a black pen to draw a frame arond the card.

Now Im curious to see what you will make. :)

Guest Designer for Pappersbiten . week 2

Then another week has gone and its time for me to blog about another card that I have designed for the Swedish shop Pappersbiten.
This time I felt that I wanted to do a card that goes kind of on the style "Less is more", and show that you don't really need so much things to create a cute card. :)

In the summertime, when you perhaps goes away on vacation you might not have so much crafty things with you....

I have used the adorable paper from You Do (Whooo Whooo) and to show off the cute owls even more I cut the of then out and put them om some 3D foam.
Then I have blinged the paper some more with some gold colored rhinestones.

As the final touch I added a white spin flower, 2 orange mulberry roses and 2 mulberry leaves.

As you can see....its okay to add just a few embellishments, just as okay to add lots of them. :)

Used material:

White Bazill Cardstock
Paper from You Do – Whooo Whooo
Orange Mulberry roses
White spin flower
Gold colored Rhinestones from Landstoken
Green  Mulberry leaves
Thickers Chipboard – Bones
3D foam (3mm)

I have, as I do a lot, chalked the edges with Ingvild Bolme Chalk Fluid Edger – Black Coal

Take Care, and see you soon again.

Wednesday Challege #23 ~ Romance and Love

Hello Everyone,

I'm back with a new card, that I've designed by using Tsunami Roses wonderful papers.

This week I had to think really hard, and finally I decided to let the backing paper be the center of attention.
It was to beautiful to not use like this.

What I did was add some stickles and on the flower on the right side I used some Glossy Accents.

The Glssy Accents-flower

Then I used the sentiment and added 2 pins, some pearls, a leaf , a bow and some mulberry roses.

I got realky pleased with the result...but what do YOU think?
