Tsunami Rose Challenge 15: Sketch Challenge

Come on in and join this weeks challenge....
Just make something using this following sketch :

April 10-April 16, 2013

Since I am mainly a card-maker, I made a card this week too.

This got to be a "Hug" card

And here is a close-up

I had to think a while, before I got the idea of cutting off the middle part of the doily...and I think the result got rather okay.

I hope that my card inspired you in some way, and that you will enter our.challenge.

Looking forward of seeing what you can create.

Many hugs from Linda

I am behind, as usual, but here is my DT-card that I made for
    Challenge 14; Anything goes.

I have used one of the stunning papers from the Damask Madam Paper Pack.
I just love them, and will definitely use them many more times.

If you click on my first picture you come to the zibbet shop and can take a look at the whole paper pack yourself.

    Dress card

    Dress card, close-up

The dress is, as I guess you can see, made with 2 doily's.
I feel really happy with how the color of the doily's and the patterned paper matched.

While I was at it, I made another dress card...

There is still some time left, so if you haven't, come on and join us in the challenge.
Remember, if you join the challenge you can win some of Tsunami Roses fabulous papers, or money to use at the shop.

If you don't try, you cant win.

I get really happy when you leave comments....I really want to know what you think of my cards.

Take care and have a great day.

    Hi everyone

Hope you are doing fine and are in a crafty mood. :)

This week, Tsunami Rose has a card challenge...and as usual great prizes.
So I hope that you, after checking my card of course ;) will head over to the Tsunami Rose Blog and read more.

So....now its time to show my card.

    ¨

This card didnt turn out like I wanted...but almost...and in my case almost is enough.

When I made it, I had just come home from the hospital, where I had been admitted for a right-sided facial paralysis.
At first they thought that I had gotten another stroke, but thankfully it wasn't so.

Now I am resting and focused on getting better, and right now I am so THANKFUL that I have my crafting...that sure does make me feel better.

Take care, and see you all soon again.
